This is absolutely one of my most favorite photos that McKenna took of Little Janie Pug. Janie looks so sophisticated, angelic and beautiful all rolled into one. HOWEVER, don't be fooled by that picture.
Little Miss Jane Austen Eyre has been studying her Uncle Howard Pee PugPants - Badness Manual a little too much these days. Janie really has her eye on the title of "Champion of Badness".
Well, as some of you know - little Miss Badness had a serious infection a few weeks back and is recovered from a recent surgery and feeling quite confident these days. So much so that she has totally, and I mean totally forgotten how to use good manners and act like the young lady we know and love.
Let's just say her new motto is: I WANT ATTENTION NOW!!! ... and if she doesn't get attention when SHE wants it...then she starts bark/howling at us in a somewhat sassy tone! But what makes it much worse...is when we try to correct this behavior...she proceeds to ...I hate to say this...she proceeds to 'hump' our leg as we walk away from her! THEN...if that isn't bad enough..as we correct her for doing this she will sit - look up at us...jump...and in a very snotty manner...jump at us while trying to take a chunk out of our thighs!!!
I believe we just might have spoiled her a tad TOO much while she was very ill. And now...she is trying to rule the roost with Badness Behavior.
I don't know if you are familiar with the TV show "Gilmore Girls"...well Little Janie Pug reminds me of Christopher's toddler age daughter - GiGi. LOL
As you can tell by today's photo of Jane she truly is a Beauty...and I just know that this little beauty is VERY smart...so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that she will use this intelligence of hers and start behaving a little more lady like. LOL
We definitely have our hands full with her majesty - Jane Austen Eyre the Pug!!

Jane is really going all out with the Badness. Sequoia still trys to bites our ankles (cuff of pants) when she wants attention and she is almsot 5. Hope Jane settles back down...she really is a cutie.
Thank you for comments on my reflexology blog Joan - enjoy Carole's class - I'm about to start. Finished my prior commitment yesterday, yay! (see blog below). Hope to paint wc paper tomorrow! cheers, Cait

hey Janie Pug,
I think your inner Diva is coming out! ;-> Looking at your beautiful photo, it is hard to imagine you being a Pug-zilla! But, sometimes a pup just has to let the Pack know who the Alpha Leader is.
And sometimes talking a walk on the wild side is fun, too!

Hi Jane
I am looking at your cuteness.. and do you know what?
I think you and me have some "badness in common".
My moms are always pulling their hair out over me,, saying I need to "chill out", I understand you,, even if no one else does.

Hi there! I just found your bloggy today! Little Janie Pug sure is cute! And um, yeah, just a bit spoiled. But you can see the wheels turning behind her eyes, all those thoughts going through her head...I'm sure she'll figure it out -- eventually! :)
Ooooh Jane Austen, you are a cheeky monkey aren't you. We love your photo and can see that mischievous glint in your eye, glad to hear you are training your humans well. We're working on the same... hee hee, Dex & Lou x
hi joan and janie!
oh my gosh!
she is just too cute to be bad. :)
(i think she know this little secret!)
please give her a big hug from me!

Well, she is just a beautiful girl, that picture does do her justice! We are so very glad that she is back to good health (we had a little catching up to do).
I'm sure that she will out grow her teenage behavior in time.
